i get these notifications on facebook everyday called "god wants you to know", and ive been getting some good ones lately. here's my one from today which falls perfectly with my personality and my life: "you've got to live life, not think about it. step into the midst of things, try and fail and learn and stand up again. the question is not whether you will or will not make mistakes - you will. the question is do you want to learn and grow, or do you want to shrink back and be stuck? take that step you've been avoiding. You can succeed, or you can get feedback that it didn't work, but in either case you are sure to feel alive."
its always been important for me (even though i always forget) to enjoy every single minute of my day to the best of my ability no matter who im with or what im doing and meditation and my reliance on the universe and god has always helped me through that.

time to bring out the fall/winter colors. i almost got wrapped up in the allure of summer but fall and winter time is what i was made for.
bouncy hair, dark nails, chapped lips, warm colors, dark denim, smooth leather, navy blazers, tall boots, and cozy sweaters.

i actually had a midterm yesterday and it went great, mission accomplished.

ive been waiting for a good time to sit down and write an introduction to what I have recently become a part of. i've been realizing the importance of surrounding myself with not only the "right" people, but people I automatically have an instant connection with whether it be an obvious connection or something I just can’t put my finger on. So basically to make a short story shorter I met this guy on facebook who had a blog and I liked it a lot and now I am a contributor on his blog. without even knowing the background of the creator (Ashani) or his intentions for the blog I had a rare and automatic connection with the content. If I could just blog for the rest of my life and make a career out of it I totally would and now more than ever am I beginning to realize that I may actually have a knack for blogging, and it’s a great feeling. visit this blog every day and if you’re in the NYC area attend the events and become just as loyal as you may be with my blog with this one (I wouldn’t lead you in the wrong direction).

this blog is about my life, and my intentions are not to get rich off of it, or to become "famous" or “recognized” because of it. My original thoughts behind midterm yesterday were and I quote, “this blog is simply a place to share some of my thoughts and everyday findings” … “because I always seem to have a loss for things to do.” and I feel like I’m getting further and further away from that idea. It’s clear that I am growing and making better decisions and as a result it is being shown through my blog and possibly getting me more hits and followers but let it be clear that this is not a commercial blog. This is simply a piece of the very large puzzle of my life. If I haven’t posted in awhile it’s probably because I’m living my life just like you are, and taking time to understand myself and the universe beyond my computer screen and camera. I don’t plan to stop blogging anytime soon and it is one of my favorite things to do. But until further notice this is not my job, it is just a past time. And I really do appreciate all those who follow and check back every single day even when I don’t post. It’s a new month and more importantly a new season so I figured I would handle it accordingly. hello october.
