my sister got me this book a couple birthdays ago called
girlosophy: a soul survival kit by anthea paul. when i first got it i def. took it for granted and didn't think twice to dive in and read it. however recently (yesterday) i was bored and wanted to sit outside and read, so i went around my house looking for old books, magazines, etc. and found
girlosophy. i read probably the first 100 or so pages, then stopped when i found this little piece of paper that was bookmarked on the chapter of love (
lol) to write down things that i wanted to start doing.
I'm positive that this book is going to be used as a tool for the rest of my life. its really amazing and i
recommend it for any girl or women. (it's also a really great gift idea, my sister has always been amazing at gift giving .. and i'll def. be giving this book out for upcoming presents. so be ready ahemm kalia)
the title of this post is a quote by Simone de Beauvior who was a french author and philosopher that was brought up in the introduction of girlosophy, and i cant get enough of it .. its beyond true.
omg! i sooo agree with the title!
ReplyDeletethe book must be amazing!
its crazy becuz most girls are not introduced into womanhood, it is kinda of forced, and "woman'" really is not concrete, there are many defintions...
thanks going to get the book soon!
