this morning and yesterday i realized that karmaloop is probably one the worst ideas ever. while karmaloop has ALMOST every "street-wear" (im beggining to hate that word) brand you can think of .. it also allows people who have no idea what their doing to get their hands on some really sick brands. before karmaloop people would have to search for brands or come across them by traveling from city to city or just stopping by random shops and picking up new or old favorite clothing. for istance ahemm
i found married to the mob in wthn a little "street wear" shop in old city philadelphia, i bought a shirt and then researched it and so on ..
all karmaloop does is allows people to find clothing that they like and buy it and thats it .. those who go on to research it and support the brand beyond just buying clothes are a different story. but who really does that?
i can give a specfic real life example of someone who dosnt.
but i wont, becuase xxx is a bitch, and it will probably be used against me
karmaloop allows corny girls and boys, women and men to get their hands on brands that have worked hard as hell to target a certain group of people and while their still getting a lot of money from the support of karmaloop they also have to deal with some lame ass niggas and bitches wearing their shit. which im sure they realized and some probably just dont mind. (i would)
do you see BBC, icecream, the hundreds ,etc on karmaloop? no?
i wonder why?
i understand at the end of the day its just a hustle but at the same time, for some reason it bothers me alot to see wack ass people, girls exspecially in tough ass gear. like they dont even wear it right lol. dont get me wrong im not a hater .. they can do what they wanna do and wear whatever but if your gonna be corny and rock shit atleast research the brand first because they could be supporting and fighting for everything your not.
unfortunataly for those women out there who want to be exclusive and fuck with MTTM or Dimepiece or Hell Bellz or Made Me not just because they produce some sick ass shit, but because the brand is cool and the women behind it are amazing .. Karmaloop dosnt help them at all.
however my advice would be to just keep doing you .. if you see a corny bitch in something you own or even have on, just know that they probably dont know shit about it and your probably wearing it better anyway. people who know whats really going on will recognize you not the other bitches.
