midterm yesterday

it seems to me that a lot of blogs have these bizarre names that are never explained, and if they are there still very confusing. therefore to satisfy my confusion and hopefully yours im here to state the reasoning behind "midterm yesterday".

First and foremost i wanted to use the letters M and Y because i have a weak spot for anyone who calls me My, short for maya. you know when you meet someone new and then you see them again and your not sure how they feel about you and then they give you a nickname or shorten your name .. and from then on you get a warm feeling and think "they must like me if they gave me a nickname" ?? i mean .. maybe its just me? but I loveee when people call me My!

so from there i simply looked on google for words that started with M and Y .. I know that doesn't sound very inspiring but .. i found this interesting website called "Devils Dictionary X" again doesn't sound so great but their definitions for words were extremely refreshing!

so that brings me to "Midterm" and "Yesterday".
their definition for midterm was; a medically imperative one week break from sex, booze, and ecstasy. [ I feel like im always telling myself i need to take a break from various things such as smoking, my boyfriend, drinking, going out, etc .. thats why this definition fits me very well and as much as i try to make every week in my life a medically imperative break from these things, it never seems to work ..]

the definition for yesterday was; the day one reasonably resolves to change destructive patterns of behavior. [again this somewhat has to do with me always finding a reason to resolve or change something within my complex but extremely simple life.]
